Bike Sizing Guide
Please note that we accept a web order on the assumption that you have ordered the correct size. Cyclexperience Ltd cannot be held responsible for incorrectly chosen bikes. We can arrange for bikes to be returned to us and redelivered to you but a surcharge will be payable. This chart will hep you choose your ideal frame size but nothing beats sitting on a bike to determine your best size. Try a friend’s bike if possible but we wouldn’t recommend taking up valuable staff time in a local bike shop to then go and buy from the web – that’s just not fair! If you are worried about sizing, then it is probably best to buy a bike from your local independent dealer!
Mountain Bikes - Inside Leg Measurement minus 13 or 14 inches = estimated frame size.
Road Bikes/Hybrids - Inside Leg Measurement minus 11 or 12 inches = estimated frame size.
Kids Bikes – 24” wheel (8 to 11 years)
Kids Bikes – 20” wheel (5 to 8 years)
Kids Bikes – 16” wheel (4 to 6 years)
Kids Bikes – 14” wheel (3 to 5 years)
Kids Bikes – 12” wheel (2 to 4 years)
Please remember that Internet Buying is very convenient and can produce some excellent bargains but as far as bikes are concerned there are pitfalls associated with buying technical products which need assembling by specialists. Unless specified, all our bikes are built, tested and then repacked with the front wheel and handlebar removed. However, you will need a small amount of practical know-how to safely assemble your bike even though we send instructions. BEWARE SITES WHICH SELL BIKES WITHOUT ANY PRIOR ASSEMBLY!
Please note we cannot be held responsible for incorrect assembly and we cannot easily solve technical faults as if you bought the bike from one of our shops in person. We will attempt to remedy any warranty issue though the relevant main dealer networks or we may arrange to have the bike collected (so keep your box handy!). Please do not take a bike to a shop without our consent and then expect us to pay the repair bill. Check our terms and conditions for more details.
