  • Arrival times & parking - on popular days, there will be queues of around 20 mins between 10 am and 12.30 pm. Cheap rate parking starts at 10 am, a number plate recognition is in place so please pay via RingGo app by midnight the same day.
  • Late arrivals & last minute bookings - you don't need to call us If you have paid online but arriving late. You can book up to 2 hrs before arrival.
  • Busy Periods - our booking system is the best way to get availability info and get the bikes you want. If we don't have spare bikes please call and we'll get you on our waiting list.
  • Trailers - we try to prepare these in advance, please add a note to the booking telling us which bike needs the trailer.
  • Part-day hire & discounts - we offer a 25% discount for part day hire - this can't be booked and is only available after 2:30 pm. 10% off for 2 days, 25% off for 3+ days. If collecting late on day 1, book from your 2nd day and ask us if a 5 pm collection is possible to avoid the first-day cost.

The New Forest is one of the safest, flattest and most scenic National Parks to cycle in. We supply helmets for free and recommend you wear one for your own safety (helmets are sanitised after each use). Cycling route maps, repair kits and locks are also provided for free. Download our free app 'Cyclexperience' from the Apple Store or Google Play Store to find most of our routes. Be sure to book online to save time in-store and to secure the bikes you prefer. Here we’ve put together the best bits for you to watch out for on your cycle. Some of them are on route, others - not so easy to find.

Bolderford Bridge

A great spot for a picnic and for children to have a splash in the river.

New Forest Bluebells near Bank (only in May!)

Bluebells bloom throughout April and May. Did you know 50% of the world's bluebells can be found in the UK? You're in for a treat if you're visiting the New Forest in May. The cycle to Bank is a shady haven for bluebells.

Rhinefield Tall Trees Arboretum

A protected part of the forest with trails leading through some of the oldest Douglas Fir trees in the country.

Ice cream van

Sweeten up your cycle with ice cream! The ice cream vans are usually at Blackwater, Whitefield Moor (Ornamental Woods, Lizard Loop routes) and Hatchet Pond (Beaulieu & Buckler’s Hard route).

The Oak Inn

The pub features on a few of our most popular family routes and is frequented by tourists and locals alike. It is not very big so please book ahead to avoid disappointment at busy times.

The Swan Inn

A traditional country pub that is family & dog friendly. We recommend this pub if the Oak Inn is busy as it is only a short ride away but the path is next to the main road so expect passing traffic. Situated on the outskirts of Lyndhurst, there is normally space to sit and eat apart from really busy times of the year.

The New Forest Inn

The New Forest Inn can be reached on a couple of our routes but is also a good option when the Oak Inn nearby is busy. It has a traditional character and can be found at the bottom of the eastern road to Bolderwood in Emery Down.
